What exactly don't you understand about algebra 1 holt? I recall having problem with the same thing in Remedial Algebra, so I think I could try to give you some ideas on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should get Algebrator, that's what I did in my Basic Math, and I have to say it's the best ! It's much cheaper than a private teacher and you can count on it anytime you want . It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever had a similar software . I would advise you to purchase it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math teacher. You won't regret it!

I remember I faced similar problems with dividing fractions, hypotenuseleg similarity and like denominators. This Algebrator is truly a great piece of algebra software program. This would simply give step by step solution to any math problem that I copied from homework copy on clicking on Solve. I have been able to use the program through several Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Basic Math. I seriously recommend the program.

I remember having difficulties with linear algebra, adding fractions and decimals. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes College Algebra, Algebra 1 and Algebra 1. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
