I have a couple of problems based on simplifying radicals worksheet with answers I have tried a lot to solve them myself but in vain. Our professor has asked us to figure them out ourselves and then explain them to the whole class. I fear that I will be chosen to do so. Please guide me!

Thanks for the detailed instructions, this sounds great . I needed something exactly like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can actually explain me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can learn it and after that solve it on my own, not just copy the results. Where can I find the program ?
