solving a third order equation

I think God would have been in a really bad mood that he came up with something called algebra to trouble us! I’ve spent hours trying to figure out a solution to this algebra problem which relates to solving a third order equation and I still can’t solve it. I’m particularly having problems with radicals, adding functions and perpendicular lines. Can anyone throw some light on how to go about solving such problems? I’ve tried various means that I could think of, but none helped. I need some urgent guidance now. Anybody?

I do understand what your problem is, but if you could explain in greater detail the areas in which you are facing difficulty , then I might be in a better position to guide you. Anyhow I have some advice for you, try Algebrator. It can solve a wide range of questions, and it can do so within minutes. And there’s more to come, it also gives a detailed step-by-step description of how it arrived at a particular answer. That way you don’t just solve your problem but also get to understand how to go about solving it. I found this program to be particularly useful for solving questions on solving a third order equation. But that’s just my experience, I’m sure it’ll be good no matter what the topic is .

You are so right Algebrator it’s the best algebra program I’ve ever tried!. It really helped me with one hypotenuse-leg similarity exam . All you have to do it’s to copy the problem , press on “SOLVE” and it gives you a step by step answer. I really like this software and always recommend it. I have used it through several math classes!
