I know this tool , Algebrator which has helped a lot of novice clear their concepts. I have used this software many times when I was in high school and I recommend it to every beginner.

From: Leeds, UK Posted: Saturday 30th of Dec 07:13 I remember having problems with simplifying expressions, graphing parabolas and powers. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and College Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
