Guys , I am in need of help on powers, inequalities, linear inequalities and rational equations. Since I am a beginner to Basic Math, I really want to understand the basics of Basic Math fully . Can anyone recommend the best resource with which I can start reading the fundamental principles ? I have the final next week.

I have no clue why God made math , but you will be delighted to know that a group of people also came up with Algebrator! Yes, Algebrator is a software that can help you solve math problems which you never thought you would be able to. Not only does it provide a solution the problem, but it also explains the steps involved in getting to that solution. All the Best!

I agree , a good software can do miracles . I used a few but Algebrator is the best . It doesn't matter what class you are in, I myself used it in Remedial Algebra and Pre Algebra as well , so you don't have to worry that it's not on your level. If you never used a software before I can tell you it's not complicated, you don't need to know anything about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the software solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.

Algebrator is a great product and is certainly worth a try. You will find lot of interesting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can say that it has made learning math much more enjoyable.
