Friends , I am in need of help on roots, function composition, triangle similarity and graphing parabolas. Since I am a newbie to Basic Math, I really want to understand the bedrocks of College Algebra fully . Can anyone suggest the best resource with which I can begin learning the fundamental principles ? I have an exam next week.

I remember having difficulties with factoring expressions, adding functions and angle complements. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 2, Algebra 2 and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
