I've always wanted to excel in ks2 maths and english work sheets, it seems like there's a lot that can be done with it that I can't do otherwise. I've searched the internet for some good learning resources, and consulted the local library for some books, but all the information seems to be targeted at people who already understand the subject. Is there any tool that can help new students as well?

That is true , there are programs that can help you with homework. I think there are several ones that help you solve math problems, but I read that Algebrator stands out amongst them. I used the program when I was a student in Pre Algebra for helping me with ks2 maths and english work sheets, and it never failed me since then. In time I understood all the topics, and after a while I was able to solve the hardest of the tests without the program. Don't worry; you won't have any problem using it. It was meant for students, so it's simple to use. Basically you just have to type in the topic that's all .Of course you should use it to learn algebra, not just copy the answers , because you won't learn that way.

I too have had problems in side-side-side similarity, trigonometric functions and x-intercept. I was advised that there are a number of programs that I could try out. I tried out many but then the finest that I discovered was Algebrator. Merely keyed in the problem and hit the ‘solve’. I got the response instantly . In addition, I was steered through to the answer by an easily comprehensible step-by-step process . I have relied on this program for my difficulties with Basic Math, Pre Algebra and Basic Math. If I were you, I would without doubt go for this Algebrator.

I would suggest trying out Algebrator. It not only assists you with your math problems, but also provides all the required steps in detail so that you can enhance the understanding of the subject.
