Hi! We just started tackling a new lesson in algebra regarding chapter 5 - work book solutions - mcdougal littell and I did well for most assignments we got but the latest one my teacher gave complex so I'd appreciate if someone will assist me to understand it! It’s a problem solving homework my math teacher gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried answering it but still can’t get it right. I just can’t answer it with ease unlike the other homeworks . I had an easy time doing my past homeworks but this particular assignment with specific topic of rational equations just gives me a hard time just knowing how to start . I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really appreciate if somebody help me in explaining the steps and how to solve it in a systematic and clear way.

I know how tough it can be if you are not getting anywhere with chapter 5 - work book solutions - mcdougal littell. It’s a bit hard to give you advice without more details of your problems . But if you rather not get a tutor, then why not just use some software and see what you think. There are countless programs out there, but one you should try out would be Algebrator. It is pretty useful plus it is pretty cheap .

Thanks for the tip . Algebrator is indeed a great math software. I was able to get answers to difficulties I had about converting decimals, rational expressions and geometry. You simply type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the answers you need. You can use it for any number of algebra things, like Algebra 1, College Algebra and College Algebra. I would highly recommend Algebrator.
